Danielle PetrakDanielle Petrak

Danielle Petrak, PhD, is the curator of the Watts Museum at WVU. Her past museum experience includes positions at The Frick in Pittsburgh, PA; the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC; and the Carlos Museum at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Danielle’s favorite parts of her job include designing and installing exhibits, studying the history of the Appalachian region, and thinking of innovative ways to present that history to museum visitors.


Corissa Nazarewycz Corissa Nazarewycz

Corissa Nazarewycz is a graduate student worker at the Watts Museum. She is from Mason County, West Virginia, and is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Public History with a certification in Cultural Resource Management at WVU. She graduated from WVU in 2024 with a Bachelor’s in Anthropology and a minor in History. Corissa is interested in historic preservation, museum exhibits, and archival work, as well as Appalachian history and culture.
